One interesting activity we’ve done while in Japan was “kimono rental”, where all of us had been dressed in kimonos, ladies got an appropriate hairstyle – and were sent off to roam the streets of Tokyo.
Christine (at that time blonde cute 5-year old) got an army of fans among locals as every other person wanted to take a picture 🙂
One important thing to note – wearing geta (Japanese traditional footwear resembling flip-flops) with socks is actually quite inconvenient, in addition to that being considered a controversial fashion 🧦🩴 😀
